Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Duong Hoang Sum - Provincial Party Committee Member, Director of Vinh Long Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that the tourism industry has proactively developed a plan and coordinated to prepare to welcome guests on the occasion of National Day September 2nd.

According to Mr. Sum, Vinh Long has advantages in diverse tourism resources, from river and water systems, orchards, craft villages to marine space. Localities are required to exploit strengths, build products associated with history, culture, ecology and cuisine.

The tourism industry requires business establishments to regularly monitor the weather, ensure safety, sell at listed prices, not solicit or pressure customers; and at the same time encourage stimulus programs, incentives and tourism products to return to the source.
In addition, the sector coordinates to prepare transportation plans, increase trips at bus stations, ferry terminals, and river crossing passenger terminals; inspect waterway vehicles, creating conditions for tourists to travel conveniently and safely.
