The Thousand Flowers Festival with the theme "Thousand Flowers to the coastal city" at FLC Quy Nhon has officially opened, opening a series of cultural and artistic activities lasting until the end of November, in response to the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026.
The festival is organized by Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee in coordination with FLC Group, open to the public and tourists from August 15. To date, the event has attracted nearly 10,000 visitors, becoming a check-in point noticed in the coastal city before the opening night.
Mr. Ricky Ho - General Manager of FLC Quy Nhon - said that the festival creates space for tourists to admire flowers and explore two unique destinations of Gia Lai, Pleiku and Quy Nhon.
We believe that Gia Lai is having more conditions to become a new attractive destination, where tourists can experience the sea and the great forests, nature and culture on the same journey. This is also an opportunity for the image of Gia Lai to get closer to domestic and international tourists," said Mr. Ricky Ho.
The opening night took place on the evening of August 22 with an art program recreating the beauty and vitality of the Central Highlands, connecting the great forest with the coastal city through performances combining music, lighting and stage performances.
Ms. Dinh Huyen Anh - a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City - was impressed with the elaborately invested festival space. "Many check-in angles are very beautiful, the miniature landscapes of the communal house and the great forest elephants are also very impressive," Ms. Huyen Anh shared.
The festival lasts until the end of November 30, open to the public from 7am to 9pm every day at FLC Quy Nhon. People and tourists can enjoy the flower space, participate in cultural and artistic activities, play, entertainment and experience local cuisine.
In addition, cultural exchange nights of Central Highlands gongs are held periodically on Saturdays and Sundays evenings every week, bringing more cultural experiences of the great forest to tourists.
