According to the People's Committee of Bac Ha district, this is an annual activity in the series of events "Bac Ha in four seasons", aiming to create unique and special tourism products of the white plateau. At the same time, it preserves, honors and promotes the cultural values of ethnic communities in Bac Ha district in particular and in Lao Cai province in general.
The event also affirmed the recovery and growth of tourism activities in Bac Ha district after the historic storm No. 3 Yagi, attracting the attention of many tourists and people inside and outside the district, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.
The 2024 Bac Ha White Plateau Festival with the theme "Intoxicated by Winter" will take place continuously from November 15 to December 7.
In addition to the main opening program on the evening of November 30 at the Bac Ha town night market stage with a special art program, the Bac Ha White Plateau Festival 2024 also features many attractive cultural and sports activities such as: Bac Ha Comprehensive Sports Tourism Competition 2024, the 3rd Northwest Mountain Marathon 2024; Bac Ha District Ethnic Sports Festival; Ethnic Minority Costume Performance Competition; Bac Ha Meal Cuisine Competition; The 3rd Bac Ha District Mong Panpipe Art Performance Competition 2024.
