According to the Con Son - Kiep Bac Relic Management Board, during the 4-day New Year holiday (from January 1 - 4), the relics managed by the unit welcomed about 14,700 visitors, an increase of 159% compared to the same New Year holiday in 2025.
In which, Con Son - Kiep Bac World Cultural Heritage attracted more than 12,000 visitors. Thanh Mai Pagoda World Cultural Heritage welcomed about 570 visitors. Kinh Mon relic complex recorded about 990 visitors. Cam Giang relic complex welcomed about 1,000 visitors.
The Management Board of Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site said that the number of visitors increased due to many favorable factors. This is the first year that Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site and Thanh Mai pagoda are located in the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac relic and scenic complex recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage.
Along with that, technical infrastructure, landscape and services at relic sites are invested and upgraded synchronously.
In addition, the New Year holiday lasts 4 days, with favorable weather. At the same time, this is also the first year after the merger of Hai Duong - Hai Phong, attracting a large number of tourists from the Eastern region and tourists from outside Hai Phong city to choose Con Son - Kiep Bac as a destination for sightseeing and pilgrimage.
