2-star hotels are priced from about 600,000 VND/room/night; budget motels range from 300,000 - 500,000 VND/room/night. Meanwhile, 3-star hotels and resorts are priced from about 1.2 million VND/room/night.
Mr. Le Viet Anh - representative of Thao Nguyen Resort said that the room occupancy rate of the unit during the holidays currently reaches about 70-80%, similar to the situation also taking place at many other accommodation establishments in Moc Chau.
Thao Nguyen Resort meets 3-star standards, listed room rates are 2 million VND/room/night. However, during the September 2nd holiday, room rates were adjusted down to about 1.2 million VND/room/night.
According to Mr. Anh, Moc Chau is still forecast to welcome many visitors during the holidays this year, but the number of visitors may not reach expectations.
At A Chu homestay, Mr. Trang A Chu - the facility owner said that room rates are kept unchanged according to the listed price, not increasing compared to normal days.
Community rooms are priced at 200,000 VND/person; private rooms range from 800,000 VND to 2 million VND/room/night.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - Chairwoman of Moc Chau Ward People's Committee said that the number of visitors to the locality is starting to increase, and many accommodation establishments have reached a room occupancy rate of over 80%.
