From April 29 to May 4, the expected number of passengers passing through the new Eastern Bus Station (Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) will reach about 47,400 people, an increase of 10% over the same period last year. The peak date is April 30, which can welcome about 11,500 visitors.
For routes from Da Nang to Binh Thuan, the Central Highlands, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and the Western provinces, ticket prices are adjusted to increase by up to 40% with two peak days of April 29 and 30.
During the same period, the old Eastern Bus Station (Binh Thanh District) was able to welcome more than 62,000 visitors. Ticket prices are also adjusted to increase by no more than 40% during the two peak days of April 29 and 30.
The Western Bus Station (Binh Tan District) is expected to welcome nearly 272,000 visitors during this holiday (an increase of 5% over the same period). At the peak on April 30, the bus station is expected to welcome nearly 62,000 visitors.

In the Northern region, according to Hanoi Bus Station Joint Stock Company, the April 30 - May 1 holiday usually coincides with the opening of the tourist season in many provinces and cities. Therefore, the demand for traveling abroad will increase sharply, visitors will focus on some localities with famous tourist attractions.
It is predicted that Giap Bat Bus Station will welcome the highest number of visitors on April 29 and 30, with about 20,000 visitors/day, an increase of 350% compared to normal days. The station is expected to have 900 vehicles/day, the number of passengers will increase concentrated on the routes of Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa.
At Gia Lam Bus Station, the highest number of passengers is about 8,000 passengers/day, an increase of about 300% compared to normal days. The station is expected to have 400 vehicles/day, mainly concentrated on Hai Phong, Quang Ninh routes...
My Dinh Bus Station welcomes about 22,000 visitors/day during peak days, an increase of more than 350% compared to normal days. The station is expected to have more than 950 vehicles/day, increasing mainly on routes to Lao Cai, Ha Giang, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, Dien Bien, Son La, Lai Chau, Quang Ninh, Cao Bang...
The company will increase 625 vehicles for bus stations in Hanoi. Of which, Giap Bat Bus Station increased 262 vehicles, Gia Lam Bus Station increased 83 vehicles and My Dinh Bus Station increased 280 vehicles. The number of increased vehicles will be distributed daily and route depending on the increase in passengers.
To prepare well for the upcoming holiday, bus stations have made a plan to serve, prepare vehicles, badges, work with public transportation centers... to reserve buses in case of overcrowding of passengers at the same time.
