In February 2025, Hanoi is expected to welcome 496,450 international tourists, an increase of 29.6% over the same period in 2024. Domestic visitors reached 1.89 million, a slight increase of 5.3% over the same period in 2024. Total revenue from the tourism industry is estimated at VND 9,220 billion, up 14.5% over the same period in 2024.
It is estimated that in the first 2 months of 2025, Hanoi welcomed 4.59 million visitors, an increase of 7.4% over the same period in 2024. Of which, it is estimated to welcome 1.05 million international tourists, an increase of 13.0% over the same period in 2024; 3.54 million domestic tourists, a slight increase of 5.8% over the same period in 2024.
Total revenue from tourists is estimated at VND18,250 billion, up 9.0% over the same period in 2024.

In February, there were 3,761 accommodation facilities in Hanoi with 71,256 rooms. Of which, there are 94 hotels and apartment buildings with a rating period of 1-5 stars with a total of 12,267 rooms, including: 23 hotels and 07 5-star apartment buildings; 17 hotels and 01 4-star apartment building; 13 3-star hotels; 19 2-star hotels and 14 1-star hotels.
The number of tourist accommodation establishments that have not registered for ranking is 3,667 with 59,109 rooms. The average room occupancy rate of the hotel industry in February 2025 is estimated at 62.34%, up 1.2% over the same period in 2024.
Regarding standard tourism services, there are currently 97 service establishments in Hanoi recognized as meeting the standards to serve tourists. Of which, there are 45 food and beverage service businesses, 43 shopping service businesses, 7 entertainment businesses, and 2 health care service businesses.
The system of standard shopping, dining and entertainment service establishments serving tourists has attracted and served a large number of tourists and people coming to visit and shop.
In March 2025, the Hanoi Department of Tourism will preside over and coordinate with the People's Committee of Hai Ba Trung District to organize the program "Hanoi Tourism Welcomes 2025 - Get on Hanoi 2025" and announce the Decision to recognize the special national relic tourist destination of Hai Ba Trung Temple, Pagoda, and Communal House" on March 4, 2025.
