The night tour program was built with the goal of bringing visitors unique and novel cultural experiences at Hang Kenh royal national relic. The tour is expected to be carried out in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong, Hai Phong Museum and Library and L'Heritage Group.
The highlight of the night tour is the 3D Mapping performance with the theme "Song Bach Dung - Hao khi Ngo Qu Qu Quyen", recreating the heroic history of fighting foreign invaders, associated with the Bach Dung victory in 938.
The program consists of 5 segments, leading visitors from the image of Duong Lam ancient village - Ngo Quyen's hometown, to military training scenes, tidal research, depots and fought-in-the- end of the historic Bach Dang water battle. The effects of light, sound and moving images on the ancient communal house architecture create a lively, realistic and emotional space.
After the screening, visitors will visit the communal house grounds, listen to the explanation of the history of Hang Kenh communal house and explore unique intangible cultural values such as: ca tru - singing the communal house gate (Intangible cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO), water puppetry, and incense burning ceremony to commemorate the national hero Ngo Quyen.
In addition, visitors also have the opportunity to experience traditional cultural spaces through calligraphy activities, printing Dong Ho paintings, enjoying cuisine and shopping for unique handicraft products.
According to the Organizing Committee, the "Sacred sign of the Canal" night tour will take place every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday night from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 47 Nguyen Cong Tru, Le Chan District.
