Accordingly, Hung Yen province and Vietnam Airlines will promote cooperation in promoting destinations, organizing national and international events; support the use of products and publications introducing Hung Yen on the national airline's transportation and service system such as Heritage magazine, flight videos, and display of publications at tourism - trade promotion events.
The two sides also agreed to coordinate the promotion and consideration of the use of Hung Yen's typical specialty products, agricultural products, and craft village products in the airport lounge and meals of national airlines when meeting all standards.
Strengthening cooperation in the fields of tourism, aviation, trade and investment is expected to help Hung Yen exploit its potential and advantages more effectively; at the same time, expanding cultural, tourism and local image promotion activities to domestic and international markets.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Airlines Corporation Dang Ngoc Hoa pledged to support the province in domestic and foreign investment, trade and tourism promotion programs; review ticket and baggage price policies, and transport goods for the province's working groups. The national airline also coordinates to promote the application of digital transformation and build technology products to promote tourism and trade.
Appreciating the proactive coordination of enterprises, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc emphasized that the signing of the Minutes of Understanding on Cooperation for the period 2026 - 2030 is of great significance, opening up a more comprehensive and substantial cooperation period.
He affirmed that in the context of the province accelerating and making a breakthrough after the arrangement of administrative units, linking with leading enterprises such as Vietnam Airlines will create a driving force for socio-economic development.
Hung Yen provincial leaders said that after the merger, Hung Yen will expand administrative space and resonate with more potential and strengths, especially historical, cultural and traditional values. However, to promote widely and attractively, there needs to be an "extended arm" from airlines, especially Vietnam Airlines.
This cooperation helps Hung Yen expand the space for trade - tourism promotion, connect domestic and international markets, and widely spread the image of Pho Hien heritage and the craft village system and specialties of the province.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc believes that with the support of the national airline, Hung Yen's potential and advantages will be exploited more strongly, contributing to promoting economic growth and enhancing the province's position and image on the tourism - trade map.
