Kbang District wants to become a new tourist attraction of Gia Lai

Gia Lai - Located in the middle of the mountains and forests, close to national parks, Kbang district has rich potential for tourism development.

Kbang owns the largest area of ​​natural forest in Gia Lai province with a coverage of nearly 70%. Places such as Kon Ka Kinh National Park, Hang En Waterfall, Doi Waterfall, Kon Bong Waterfall, Kon Loc... the mountain and forest ecosystem of Kon Ha Nung Plateau Reserve increasingly attracts tourists to experience.

In 2017, Kbang district only welcomed a few thousand visitors, but now it has increased to more than 10 thousand visitors/year. Of which, community tourism is the type that many tourists seek to experience and explore.

From 2022 to present, Kbang district has mobilized resources to invest in the construction of infrastructure projects to serve tourism. Currently, 100% of the roads from the district center to the communes are asphalted and concreted.

100% of inter-village roads and 87% of roads to production areas have been upgraded to meet the convenient travel needs of residents and tourists.

Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Chairman of Kbang District People's Committee said: "Implementing Resolution (No. 07-NQ/HU), the district advocates promoting tourism development, making tourism a spearhead economic sector, thereby gradually improving the material and spiritual life of the people".

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, the tourism industry is gradually receiving more attention, and tourism potential is increasingly exploited and promoted effectively.

The district will also focus on training and fostering tourism expertise for people and managers to develop sustainable tourism economy.
