The free Bac Ninh tour organized from March 8 to now has attracted hundreds of tourists every weekend. The number of visitors on Sunday is double the Saturday and tourists line up to wait for their turn from 4am to 5am while the new bus departs at 8am.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh, the number of free tours at first was low, so participants were limited, the People's Committee of this province agreed to change the tour, trip and operation method.
In that situation, the number of trips increased from 4 to 8, equivalent to about 360 passengers/day. However, the tour organizers do not accept direct registration as before, visitors must register online through the Electronic Information Portal of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh with a link (docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfabb-FwM629CdLuPr6MxTqJwf5OaKUuk7bh_coZbbcuT9ytQ/viewform) or QR code.
Note, visitors who register successfully must be present at the bus pick-up point, Bac Ninh Museum, by 7:30 at the latest. After that time, the organizing committee will cancel the participation and transfer that fee to another person.
Each seat is only for one customer and does not have children under 6 years old participating. When there are enough people participating in the tour, the registration portal will automatically close. Visitors are allowed to cancel their tours 24 hours in advance, if they do not report a cancellation when they cannot participate, they will be refused registration for free tours.
Bac Ninh also increased the number of free tours from 2 to 4 with the following schedule:
Tour 1: Bac Ninh Museum - But Thap Pagoda - Dau Pagoda - Dong Ho painting village - Do temple - Nam Hong Royal Museum - Vincom Plaza Bac Ninh - Bac Ninh Museum.
Tour 2: Bac Ninh Museum - Phat Tich Pagoda - Kinh Duong Vuong Mausoleum - Phu Lang Ceramic Village - Nguyen Cao Temple - Dien Quang Pagoda - Vincom Plaza Bac Ninh - Bac Ninh Museum.
Tour 3: Bac Ninh Museum - Ba Chua Kho Temple - Lonely tree - Diem village (adventure of the relic cluster of Cung Temple - Ngoc well, Vua Ba Temple, Diem communal house, Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk song theater and lunch break) - Ly Thuong Kiet temple - the relic cluster of communal house, General Quoc temple, Thanh Quang pagoda - Bac Ninh Museum.
Tour 4: Bac Ninh Museum - Cao Lo Vuong Temple - Le Chi Vien Temple - Thai su Le Van Thinh Temple - Dong Ho painting village (lunch and experiential activities) - Tam Phu Temple - Phu Lang pottery village - Bac Ninh Museum.
The tour schedule lasts from 8am to 5:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays every week from March 8 to the end of June.

Not only tourists go on free tours, but the number of tourists outside of tours to Bac Ninh has also increased recently thanks to the MV Bac Bling effect of singer Hoa Minzy, artist Xuan Hinh and Tuan cry. Currently, the MV Bac Bling has nearly 70 million views after only 19 days of release.
