On the morning of January 25, Cam Ranh International Port welcomed 2 international cruise ships at the same time, bringing thousands of tourists to visit and experience the outstanding destinations of the locality on the journey to explore Vietnam.
The two ships docked included the Westerdam ship (Dutch nationality) carrying 1,857 tourists and 857 crew members and the Norwegian Sun ship (Bahamas nationality) carrying 1,868 tourists and 899 crew members.
Immediately after docking at Cam Ranh International Port, tourists on the two ships were organized by Tan Hong Trading and Tourism Co., Ltd. - Viet Excursions to participate in many tours to visit and experience unique tourist and cultural spots of Khanh Hoa.
The sightseeing programs include: Exploring Dien Khanh countryside; learning about cultural life and traditional crafts in Tay Nha Trang ward; visiting Nha Trang Cathedral, Dam market, Tuong Son craft village; experiencing the Cai River scenery; visiting Tu Van Pagoda (Cam Ranh); exploring Nui Chua National Park, grape gardens in Vinh Hai, garlic farms and Vinh Hy Bay.
According to the schedule, in the afternoon of the same day, the Norwegian Sun ship left Khanh Hoa to continue its journey to Sihanoukville (Cambodia). Meanwhile, the Westerdam ship left the port for Da Nang.
Since the beginning of 2026, Khanh Hoa has welcomed 6 international cruise ships, with nearly 16,000 tourists ashore for sightseeing.
According to the registration schedule of shipping lines, it is expected that in 2026, the locality will welcome 37 more international cruise ships.
