The beauty of peach blossom is not only spiritual but also opens up the opportunity to develop tourism for Lang Son. In recent years, tours to see peach blossoms, rattan hunting in Mau Son, taking photos and peaches of Bac Son forest have increasingly attracted tourists.
Many homestays and services experiencing indigenous culture have also been expanded, bringing significant revenue to local people.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu, a tour guide in Lang Son, said: "Previously, tourists came to Lang Son mainly to shop at the border gate. But now, many people come to experience the peach blossom season, Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the upland ".
In particular, the annual Lang peach blossom festival has become a highlight and "identification" for peach blossoms in Lang Son.
According to Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen - Permanent Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, the Lang Peach Blossom Festival is an annual cultural and tourism event to honor the beauty of peach blossoms, introduce and promote the tourism potential and unique cultural heritage values of ethnic minorities.
The festival starts from mid-January to late February with tours, bringing visitors experiences and exploration of nature, cultural identity, and people of Lang Son.
"With the characteristics of the climate, soil, Lang is considered the land of peach blossom with many beautiful, rare peach varieties with its own brilliant beauty. The people of Lang Son province and showing strong, long -lasting, solidarity and desire to rise, "Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen said.
According to information from the People's Committee of Lang Son province, thanks to good exploitation, in the past year, people collected about 300 billion VND from selling and renting trees and peach branches.
