In order to promote bilateral tourism cooperation between Vietnam and Korea, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea will organize the event "Korea Travel Festa 2025" - the largest festival to promote Korean culture and tourism in 2025.
The event held in Ho Chi Minh City brings many cultural, tourism and entertainment experiences with strong Korean characteristics to affirm the strong attraction of Korean culture for Vietnamese tourists.
2024 marks an important milestone when for the first time the number of Vietnamese and Korean tourists exceeds 5 million - a big step forward in bilateral cooperation.

Of which, the number of Vietnamese visitors to Korea has reached more than 511,000 and the number of Korean visitors to Vietnam has reached more than 4.6 million. In the first 5 months of 2025 alone, the number of Vietnamese visitors to Korea reached about 224,000, an increase of nearly 11% over the same period in 2024, showing great potential for tourism development between the two countries.
This year's Korea Travel Festa 2025 event has more than 30 booths from leading units in the tourism, culture and entertainment sector of Vietnam and Korea, bringing an interesting experience to visitors.
With the desire to introduce diverse cultural content and the appeal of Korean culture to Vietnamese tourists, "Korea Travel Festa 2025" has brought tourists many unique experiences as well as many promotions, discounts on tourism products, and air tickets for tourists when participating in the event.
One of the highlights at "Korea Travel Festa 2025" is the LCK (League of Legends Champions Korea) experience area - a prestigious professional tournament of the LoL team game, also a symbol of the Korean sports industry.

The event also had the participation of many large agencies and enterprises from Korea, including the Korean Cultural Center, the Korean Creative content Agency (KOCCA), the Korean Visa Center, Jeju Special Administrative Provincial Office, Jeju Tourism Promotion Agency, Busan Tourism Promotion Agency... bringing rich content, introducing diverse tourism, cultural and industrial products typical of Korea, contributing to creating a comprehensive picture of the attractiveness of the land of kimchi to Vietnamese tourists.
In addition, many airlines and leading travel companies from Vietnam and Korea have attracted attention when introducing many special incentives, notably the Vietnam - Korea airfares discount program of up to 15%; rich Korean tour products, including K-Culture tours, Prime tour, Korean Esports sports and electronic sports experience tours, and many options for family members, young people and high-end groups.
For the first time in Vietnam, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) has coordinated with Klook Vietnam to launch the sale of Korean tourism products on the Shopee e-commerce platform - one of the most popular online shopping channels today.
This is considered a breakthrough in the model of combining tourism and e-commerce, bringing a convenient, modern shopping experience and helping consumers access to tours, services and incentives from Korea more easily.
Another highlight expected at "Korea Travel Festa 2025" is a series of large-scale art performances, gathering prominent names from both K-Pop and V-Pop, bringing an explosive and emotional atmosphere to the audience attending.

Within the framework of the event "Korea Travel Festa 2025", the Korea Tourism Administration in Vietnam held a ceremony to appoint Mr. Kim Sang-sik - Head Coach of the Vietnam National Men's Football Team - as Honorary Ambassador of Korea Tourism to Vietnam.
Mr. Kim Sang-sik is recognized as the person who made a great contribution to bringing Vietnamese football back to its peak, especially after impressive victories in international tournaments.
As the Honorary Ambassador of Korea Tourism, Mr. Kim Sang-sik will accompany the Korea Tourism Administration in activities to promote the image of the land of kimchi to the Vietnamese people closer through creative communication campaigns and cultural and sports exchange programs in the coming time.
