The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a Plan to organize a Ceremony, parade, and March on the occasion of National Day September 2, 2025 - the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Accordingly, Hanoi will organize 5 high-altitude fireworks display locations for this important event. Details of the official fireworks display locations have not been announced.

The parade will take place at 6:30 a.m. on September 2, 2025, at Ba Dinh Square and some central streets of the capital (according to the Ministry of National Defense's Project). It is expected that about 30,000 people (excluding parades and parades) will attend the event.
The plan also clearly states the preliminary approval, general approval schedule and assigns specific tasks to units.
The Central Steering Committee for the celebration of major holidays in the 2023-2025 period directs the organization of events. Hanoi City is the host unit, coordinating with the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and related agencies.
The celebration aims to affirm the great historical significance of the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam); at the same time, foster confidence in the leadership role of the Party, arouse patriotism, self-reliance, and aspiration for national development.
The event is also an opportunity to educate revolutionary ideals, express gratitude to previous generations, honor the strength of national unity and the spirit of international solidarity.
