In recent days, the image of the snake mascot welcoming the New Year of the Snake 2025 in Binh Duong has been shared by many people.
The mascot is located on Quang Trung Street, Phu Cuong Ward, Thu Dau Mot City. The mascot is located right in front of the Thu Dau Mot City People's Committee. The mascot's head faces Binh Duong six-way intersection, where many people pass by.
This mascot was made by teachers at Binh Duong College of Culture and Fine Arts. The soft foam was trimmed, cut, shaped, sanded and then painted.
The snake mascot is 18m long, 5m high, and has a hood about 2m wide. Notably, on the snake's head is a crown crafted in the image of a sunflower petal - a typical symbol of Thu Dau Mot.
The mascot is placed on a pedestal about 1m high, surrounded by flowers, silver bars and oil flowers. The image of the beautifully winding mascot is likened by the people of Binh Duong to the "king of snakes".
