Miss Charm Vietnam 2026 officially kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City with the theme "Beauty Born from Culture - Beauty nurtured from culture", and opened a gateway to receive contestants' applications.
According to the Organizing Committee, the contest not only evaluates appearance but also promotes knowledge, education, bravery, pride in origin and community connection ability. Contestants are expected to have personal stories, understand Vietnamese culture and know how to convey traditional values in a language close to the new generation.
The winner will represent Vietnam to participate in Miss Charm International. Besides competing, she is expected to become a bridge to promote the image of the country, people and tourism of Vietnam.
In the context that beauty contests are increasingly associated with destination media, Vietnamese representatives need to be able to introduce landscapes, heritage, cuisine, costumes and customs of each region. Foreign language skills, communication skills and cultural storytelling therefore become important criteria.
Miss Charm is an international contest initiated by Vietnam. Through three seasons of organization, the playground gathers representatives from many countries and territories, creating a space for cultural exchange and contributing to bringing the image of Vietnam closer to the international beauty community.
The three beauties who have been crowned include Luma Russo from Brazil, Rashmita Rasindran from Malaysia and Anna Blanco from Venezuela. Miss Charm 2024 Rashmita Rasindran returns to Vietnam as a member of the judging panel for the new season.
Designer Le Huu Nhan was appointed as National Director of Miss Charm Vietnam 2026. In this position, he participated in orienting, organizing selection and preparing for the Vietnamese representative before entering the international arena.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga, Chairwoman of Miss Charm Org, said that the contest aims to connect beauty with culture, education, tourism and positive values for the community.
Through the journey of the contestants and the participation of international representatives, Miss Charm Vietnam 2026 is expected to contribute to introducing Vietnam as a destination rich in identity, friendly and attractive to international tourists.
