On June 12, in Phu Quy Special Zone, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province organized a launching ceremony for the program "Green Tourism - For a Sustainable Future".
This is an activity to launch a movement to protect the environment, especially the marine and island environment, associated with building green tourism and implementing civilized behavior principles in tourism activities.

The program aims to promote and promote tourism, introduce the potential, strengths and image of Phu Quy sea and islands as green, clean, beautiful, friendly, and attractive, thereby attracting tourists to visit and experience. At the same time, it contributes to spreading the image of Lam Dong destination with the messages "Lam Dong - Come to love" and "Lam Dong people - Experience Lam Dong Tourism".
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, the program will create widespread spread in the community, contributing to building Phu Quy Special Zone into a typical green destination, contributing to the sustainable tourism development goals of the province in the new period.

At the launching ceremony, the Lam Dong Provincial Tourism Association together with the Phu Quy Tourism Branch, high-speed passenger transport ship businesses on the Phan Thiet - Phu Quy route, Roman Resort Phu Quy and many tourism service business establishments signed commitments to limit the use of disposable plastic products, not to use plastic bottles in conferences and events, and encourage the use of environmentally friendly items.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates and people participated in planting trees and launching environmental sanitation campaigns in many areas on the island.

On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province also presented the Phu Quy Special Zone People's Committee with QR code boards to serve information lookup at many historical and cultural relics and famous tourist attractions.
