According to Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center, in the first 3 days of the National Day holiday on September 2nd, tourist routes and attractions managed by the unit averaged about 4,300 visitors per day, an increase of nearly 15% over the same period last year.
Despite the rainy weather, many tourists still maintained the schedule they had prepared in advance, choosing attractions suitable for the actual conditions.
Ms. Nguyen Hai Ly (a tourist from Hanoi) said that before the holidays, her family planned to visit Quang Tri, and at the same time booked accommodation and prepared a schedule for the trip.
When arriving in Quang Tri, the weather was not as favorable as expected, but her family still decided to carry out the trip as planned.
During the journey in Phong Nha - Ke Bang, Ms. Ly's family chose a number of suitable locations to visit. Among them, Phong Nha cave is still the destination chosen by the family to experience even when it rains.
According to Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center, the National Day holiday of September 2nd this year is long, creating conditions for people and tourists to have more time to explore and experience destinations in Phong Nha - Ke Bang.
To proactively welcome the number of visitors during the holiday, the Center has implemented service plans, from reviewing facilities, landscape embellishment to arranging personnel at tourist routes and attractions.

Although the weather during the holiday has unfavorable times, the routes and tourist attractions directly under the Center still attract many people to visit and experience.

Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center said that the unit regularly monitors weather developments, rainfall and water levels on rivers and streams.
For routes and points using boats or having activities related to rivers and waters, vehicles and life-saving equipment are inspected before being put into service for passengers.
During the tour, visitors are instructed to wear life jackets and comply with regulations to ensure safety throughout the journey.
