During the historic April months, joining in the atmosphere of the whole country to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), many people of Nghe An and tourists from all over the country gathered at Ho Chi Minh Square.
In the brilliant sunlight, Ho Chi Minh Square is busier with groups of people, families and groups of young people wearing ao dai and red flags with yellow stars. Each photo is not only a beautiful moment but also shows deep gratitude for the great contributions of generations of ancestors who sacrificed for national independence.

"In response to the national day celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, today, I took my two children to take photos at the Square and will soon take them to Ho Chi Minh City to watch the parade.
This is an opportunity for children to preserve memorable images with the country, reminding them of the heroic history of the country, said Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy (33 years old, residing in Doi Cung ward, Vinh city).

Not only Vinh city residents, but many people from neighboring districts also come here to visit, take photos and offer flowers at Uncle Ho's Monument.
The bright smiles, the sparkling eyes of pride, all blend together into a vivid picture of patriotism and solidarity of the people of Nghe An.

In particular, many young people also choose to record moments when the national flag flies under the blue sky, as a way to affirm national pride and determination to continue the tradition of their ancestors, building their homeland to become increasingly rich and civilized.
This event not only has historical significance but is also an opportunity for each child of Nghe An to cherish peace, freedom and remind themselves of their responsibility towards their homeland and country.

Many tourists from neighboring provinces also come to the square on this important occasion.
Mr. Nguyen Nam Khanh (born in 1996, living in Da Nang) and his girlfriend traveled to Nghe An to visit Uncle Ho's hometown during the historic days of the country. Because they planned to only be in Nghe An for one day, the two tourists took the opportunity to visit and take photos at Ho Chi Minh Square before coming to Nam Dan district.

"Through the photos and historical documents of the thematic display" 50 years of unity and desire to reach out "at Ho Chi Minh Square, we have better understand the heroic history of the country to see that we need to be grateful and remember the merits of the previous generation.
