On the evening of April 25, VUI-Fest Ha Long - an entertainment - culinary complex in the style of "prosperous trading port" - officially launched in Bai Chay, bringing a unique night experience space by the heritage bay for people and tourists, especially during the Giỗ Tổ holiday and April 30 - May 1.
Located in Sun Porto Town, Sun Elite City (Ngọn Hải Đăng area), Bãi Cháy ward, VUI-Fest Ha Long is an integrated entertainment - culinary - art complex, invested by Sun Group to create a completely different nightlife experience space in Quang Ninh.
Inspired by the image of a "prosperous trading port", the complex recreates the bustling trading spirit of the heritage land in a contemporary look, where indigenous culture intersects with modern rhythm of life.
The highlight of the opening night was the red sailboat aquatic performance - a symbol of tourism in the heritage region. The opening was the elaborate appearance of a formation of 6 red sailboats. In synchronous movement with music and lighting effects, the boats merged to form the image of a "light dragon" stretching out on the bay surface, symbolizing the legend of creating the Ha Long Bay wonder.
The image of sailboats also evokes the tourism symbol of the heritage area of a time.
Immediately after the water performance climax, there was a high-altitude fireworks display that exploded with emotion at VUI-Fest Ha Long. Thousands of firecrackers with more than 50 multi-layered effects were performed on the sky of the heritage bay, combined with music and modern lighting systems, creating an impressive visual overall. Thousands of tourists excitedly checked in on this unprecedented brilliant scene in the heritage region.
Besides the show and brilliant fireworks display, VUI-Fest Ha Long also opens up an unprecedented unique entertainment - culinary space at Bai Chay. VUI-Fest Port - an art stage inspired by the port - is an attractive destination for indie bands, DJs and street performers. Buggys are "transformed" into mobile stages with brilliant sound and LED systems, spreading festival energy along the streets.
In parallel with performance activities, VUI-Fest also recreates the spirit of trade through creative experience stations and auction areas, where visitors discover handicrafts, designer gifts and participate in interactive activities. A system of 100 diverse culinary kiosks, combining local specialties with international flavors, contributes to completing the nighttime entertainment - culinary ecosystem.
VUI-Fest Ha Long will continuously refresh experiences with a series of additional activities, notably the 3D mapping show "Long Van Khanh Hoi" - a light art performance in the Lighthouse area, where the story of the heritage land is told using modern technology, creating a unique cultural highlight in the festival space by the bay. The show will soon be launched in May 2026.
