On November 11, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism and the People's Committee of Ho Tram commune held a conference to discuss tourism development in Ho Tram commune. Delegates listened to reports on the local tourism development situation, exploitation potential and investment orientation of tourism products in the coming time.
The conference also focused on discussing contents related to the coordination of state management of tourism; solutions to build the Long Hai - Binh Chau national tourist area according to the National Tourism System Planning for the period 2021 - 2030; taking advantage of the advantages after the administrative merger of Ho Chi Minh City to expand regional linkages, promote destinations, attract investors, connect tourism - transportation - accommodation - service infrastructure.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Pham Huy Binh - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism emphasized that the opinions, recommendations and solutions raised today are a valuable source of valuable, vivid data for the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism to synthesize and report to the City People's Committee in the process of advising on policies and implementing a tourism development strategy in the Eastern region, in which Ho Tram is identified as one of the key destinations, rich in potential and identity.

In particular, the close coordination between local authorities, businesses and people, along with the attention of departments and branches, will be a solid foundation for Ho Tram to develop in a green - sustainable - classy direction, contributing to making the new Ho Chi Minh City a leading center for resort tourism and health care in the region.
Organizing a conference to discuss tourism development with key areas identified by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism as one of the solutions to quickly, effectively and substantially promote the formation of products and services associated with local resources, increasing the competitiveness of Ho Chi Minh City's destinations.
Ho Tram commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Phuoc Buu town, Phuoc Tan commune and Phuoc Thuan commune (formerly in Xuyen Moc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province). After the merger, Ho Tram commune has a natural area of about 94.51 km2 and a population of about 51,895 people. The commune has 23 hamlets and neighborhoods, which are the cultural, political and social centers of the region, about 130 km northeast of the center of Ho Chi Minh City.
Ho Tram has a convenient transportation system (National Highway 55, Vung Tau - Binh Chau coastal road, DT.998 road, My Xuan - Ngai Giao road...), along with rich tourism resources associated with Binh Chau - Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve, Ray River and the East Sea.
With a coastline of about 15 km, fine white sand, clear blue water, and a warm and sunny climate all year round, Ho Tram has many advantages for developing the marine economy, resort tourism, ecology, sports and health care, and at the same time, has the potential to develop high-tech agriculture associated with tourism.
