Thao Dien Ward in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City has been honored in 16th place in the top most interesting neighborhoods in the world.
The survey results were based on criteria including: Cuisine, culture, art, streetscape, community atmosphere and local identity.
Located on the banks of the Saigon River, Thao Dien is known as a wealthy neighborhood with many luxury shops. According to Time Out, Thao Dien is a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood with countless restaurants, spas and unique fashion stores.
The British magazine also suggests places to eat when coming to Thao Dien: "If you are a sweet tooth, visit Bakes to enjoy delicious cakes or visit Tre Dining - a restaurant on the Michelin Selected list this year. In addition, you can also visit the night market on the weekend to buy yourself unique items."
