On April 28, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that during the 3-day Hung Kings Commemoration Festival holiday (from April 25 - 27), the total number of tourists in the province is estimated at 320,000; of which, there are about 5,700 international tourists. The number of overnight visitors reached approximately 170,000.
Average room occupancy rate across the province reached 65%. Notably, in areas such as Ly Son special zone, Mang Den commune and Kon Tum ward, room occupancy rate reached over 90%.
Many destinations attract many visitors to visit and experience such as communes and wards: Tinh Khe, Van Tuong, Kon Tum, along with prominent tourist areas and attractions such as Sa Huynh, Chau Tan, Dak Bla pedestrian street, Song Tra night street. Cultural and sports activities are organized simultaneously in localities, contributing to creating a vibrant and attractive atmosphere for tourists.
Total revenue from tourism activities during the holiday is estimated at 251 billion VND. Tourism businesses have proactively built and connected intra-provincial tours, improved service quality, and strengthened the promotion of destination images. At the same time, security, safety, environmental sanitation and service price listing are strictly implemented.
Tourism activities during the Hung Kings Commemoration Festival in the province took place safely and healthily. State management was strengthened, service quality was gradually improved, contributing to maintaining the image of friendly and attractive Quang Ngai tourism in the eyes of tourists.
From these positive signs, Quang Ngai tourism is entering the peak summer season of 2026 with many growth expectations, continuing to affirm its position on the Vietnam tourism map.
