The Singapore passport tops the ranking of 199 passports of countries and territories, according to Henley & Partners.

Currently, Singaporeans own the most powerful passports with visa-free travel to 195 destinations. In joint second place are Japanese, German, French, Italian and Spanish passports with 192 destinations that do not require a visa in advance.

Next, in third place in the ranking are Korean, Swedish, Finnish, Austrian, Irish, Luxembourg and Dutch passports. All enjoy the privilege of easy travel to 191 destinations.

The United Kingdom, New Zealand, Norway, Belgium, Denmark and Switzerland ranked fourth with passports with 190 visa-free destinations. Meanwhile, Australian and Portuguese people can freely enter 189 destinations, with their passport ranked 5th in the rankings. The US passport dropped to 8th place with 186 destinations that do not require a visa in advance.

Vietnam passport ranks 55th on the list with 51 visa-free destinations. In Southeast Asia, Vietnam's passport ranks higher than Laos and Myanmar's passports.

According to CNN , over the past 19 years, the rankings by immigration consulting firm Henley & Partners (headquartered in London) have tracked global freedom of movement in 227 countries and territories around the world. , uses exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as a reference.

The ranking of 199 global passports is based on the number of destinations that passport holders can enter without first applying for a visa. The rankings are updated monthly in real time throughout the year, as visa policy changes take effect.
