The forum is an activity to concretize the Memorandum of Understanding dated January 12, 2024 between the Standing Committee of Mu Cang Chai District Party Committee and the Standing Committee of Sa Pa Town Party Committee (Lao Cai province) on the direction of cooperation in tourism development associated with conservation, promotion and preservation of cultural identities of ethnic groups in the period 2024 - 2028.
Through the program, Sa Pa town and Mu Cang Chai district have more effective and feasible solutions as a basis for building a common action plan to create a new journey together - a "Heritage Connection Route".
These activities not only provide a sustainable source of livelihood for people living on the relics, but also contribute to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, enriching the heritage of both localities.
The connection between localities with many similarities in culture and natural landscapes creates favorable conditions for the development of unique and diverse tourism products, contributing to enhancing the tourism position of both regions on the national and international tourism map.
