Lao Cai - On September 1, a large number of tourists flocked to Sa Pa to relax and "hunt" for the coming golden season of the Northwest.

Located at the foot of the majestic Hoang Lien Son mountain range, 5-6 hours from Hanoi by highway, Sa Pa is an ideal destination for tourists during the September 2nd holiday. According to Mr. Trong Cung (Thai Binh), since the morning of September 1st, a large number of vehicles have poured into the center of Sa Pa town, causing traffic jams.

Not only in the center, in other tourist spots of Sa Pa such as Ta Van village, the number of tourists is also very crowded because this place is currently in the ripe rice season. On the road to Ta Van, motorbikes and cars are lined up, moving little by little. Many tourists choose to walk to avoid long waiting times.

Traveling to Sa Pa with his family, Mr. Bui Van Tam (Hanoi) also shared that Sa Pa is currently very crowded and bustling. “The dining places, Fansipan cable car station… are all crowded with tourists. My family had to book a room in advance to avoid running out of rooms,” Mr. Tam said.

The crowded situation made Mr. Tam and his family wait and line up to visit and experience. The weather sometimes had light rain and a lot of fog. However, when the rain stopped, Sa Pa was very beautiful and fresh, the cool air also helped Mr. Tam and his family feel more comfortable during the trip.

Besides, according to Mr. Trong Cung, at this time in Sa Pa, the rice in the fields is ripe and entering the harvest season. The terraced fields are starting to change their appearance, the golden color gradually replacing the green of the previous months.

Layer upon layer of yellow colors intertwined, embracing the hillsides and fields, helping him get very satisfying photos. The rice harvest season in Sa Pa this year starts from mid-August to the first half of September.

The majestic mountains and forests, the murmuring streams and the golden season in the fields in Sa Pa make this place a destination that every tourist wants to visit during the September 2nd holiday. Therefore, to fully enjoy the trip to the "foggy city" in Lao Cai, visitors need to prepare to book rooms in advance as well as choose a reasonable means of transportation for convenient travel in Sa Pa.
