Vietnam's Noi Bai and Da Nang international airports have strongly risen in the list of 100 best airports in the world in 2026.

Skytrax - the world's leading aviation consulting company based in London (UK) has just announced the ranking of the 100 best airports in the world within the framework of the annual World Airport Awards 2026.

The ranking results are based on passenger satisfaction surveys, assessing airport experiences through many service and operation criteria such as check-in, arrival - departure, transfer, shopping, security, entry and boarding procedures.

In which, Noi Bai and Da Nang International Airports of Vietnam surpassed many of the world's leading major aviation hubs such as Beijing Daxing International Airport (China) - ranked 82nd and John F. Kennedy International Airport (New York, USA) - ranked 85th.

Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) increased 8 places to 71st place, while Da Nang International Airport ranked 75th, up 9 places compared to 2025.

International terminal T2 of Noi Bai is also being expanded with a total capital of about 5,000 billion VND, adding check-in counters and scanners in December 2025, increasing service capacity to about 10-15 million passengers per year.

Meanwhile, International Terminal T2 of Da Nang International Airport has been certified 5 stars by Skytrax for two consecutive years thanks to the integration of modern technology to shorten waiting times and enhance passenger experience.
