According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, there are currently many landslides on the central road in Don village, Pu Luong commune, Thanh Hoa province, including some quite serious points with cracked road surfaces, causing unsafety for traffic participants.

According to many people here, due to the impact of previous storms, especially after storm No. 11, the road through the center of Don village suffered landslides in many locations. Some large landslides caused the road surface structure to be destroyed.
In addition, landslides also caused many power poles to tilt and power lines to fall, posing a potential safety risk to people and tourists when traveling.

A representative of the People's Committee of Pu Luong commune said that after the recent storm, the central area of Don village recorded 4 serious landslides, affecting tourism activities as well as people's property and crops.
Immediately after the landslide occurred, the locality reported to the authorities. The People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province then decided to allocate 7 billion VND to repair landslides.


"While waiting for the repair to be implemented, we have put up road signs at dangerous locations. In the coming time, the commune will urgently reinforce and handle landslides to ensure the safety of people and tourists" - a representative of the People's Committee of Pu Luong commune informed.
