Moc Chau is ready to welcome guests
This year's National Day holiday lasts 5 days, creating conditions for tourists to choose resort destinations and explore. In Moc Chau, accommodation establishments, restaurants, and attractions are ready to serve guests.
From August 27 to September 5, Moc Chau Culture - Tourism Week 2026 takes place with many activities such as the art program "Moc Chau - Call of Love Season", cultural - tourism camp competition, introduction of ethnic cuisine, street community cultural activities and folk games.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Chairwoman of Moc Chau Ward People's Committee, said that the locality is expected to welcome about 40,000 - 50,000 visitors during this occasion.
We mobilize accommodation establishments to serve guests thoughtfully; require price listing, no overcharging, room and food service price increases," Ms. Hoa said.
According to records, many accommodation establishments have renovated rooms, grounds, and added services. Some places have had early bookings, especially in the central area and near tourist attractions.
Ms. Nguyen Minh Anh, a tourist from Hai Phong, said that her family booked a room about 2 weeks before the holiday.
We chose Moc Chau this time because of the cool climate, beautiful scenery and many unique activities. Booking early helps the family feel more secure," she shared.
Ta Xua, diverse highland experiences
In Ta Xua, the sea of clouds, the highland roads and the culture of the Mong people continue to be attractions for tourists.
Currently, the commune has 88 households doing business in community guesthouses and 60 households doing business in services. Accommodation establishments have renovated rooms, landscapes, and prepared experiential activities.
At Y Xoa homestay, Mr. Thao A Lo uses po mu wood to refresh some spaces, plant more flowers, decorate with Party flags, national flags, creating an atmosphere of Independence Day. Room rates range from 300,000 - 500,000 VND/day and night.
Ta Xua is expected to welcome about 8,000 - 9,000 visitors on the occasion of National Day. In addition to dinosaur spine, Ta Xua prairie, solitary tree, wind peak, the locality is developing more experiences associated with local culture and products.
In Ban Be, tourists can pick ancient tea trees, stir-fry tea, enjoy tea and learn about traditional tea making. Products such as rattan green tea, white rattan tea, green tea... contribute to creating more choices for tourists.
Mr. Mua A Su, Be village, said that the experience activity helps tourists better understand the ancient tea tree, tea making profession and the life of the H'Mong people.
On this occasion, the 2nd Independence Tet Festival is organized with culinary competitions, tu lu fighting, banh day pounding, embroidery, khen dance, pao throwing and tea star performances.
Mr. Pham Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of Ta Xua Commune People's Committee, said that the locality is strengthening inspections of business establishments, ensuring security and order, environmental sanitation and fire prevention and fighting. Up to now, customers have booked over 90% of the rooms; only some homestays far from the center still have empty rooms.
Many other destinations are also ready
Not only Moc Chau and Ta Xua, tourist destinations in Ngoc Chien, Binh Thuan, Co Ma, Bac Yen, Phu Yen, Muong Chien communes have also prepared carefully to welcome guests on September 2nd.
Ngoc Chien continues to promote the advantages of highland landscapes, hot springs, villages and traditional cultural spaces. Community tourism products are focused on, during the ripe rice season and Son Tra fruit season, creating conditions for tourists to relax and experience local life.
In Binh Thuan, Co Ma, Bac Yen and Phu Yen, many cultural activities, festivals, markets and unique experiences are prepared, helping to diversify choices for tourists during long holidays.
Localities strengthen inspection of fire prevention and fighting, environmental sanitation, food safety and require establishments to list and sell at the right prices, and serve tourists thoughtfully.
