For a long time, this place has become a symbol of cultural identity, community tourism and the aspiration to rise up of ethnic minorities. After many stages of development, Ta Van has today been transforming strongly: From a purely agricultural commune to an eco-tourism center, experiencing the unique culture of Sa Pa area and Lao Cai province.

Through three discussion sessions, the Workshop recorded many profound and practical opinions such as the need to build the identity of the Ta Van tourism brand associated with the culture of the H'Mong, Dao, and Giay ethnic groups - not to copy or over-commercialize.
