The December tourist season also contributes to boosting the number of visitors.
The Thai Ministry of Tourism and Sports forecasts a continued growth trend next week, as the peak season for the long-haul market begins and support measures such as the Ease of Traveling program, exemption of TM.6 entry cards and encouragement of increasing flight frequency continue to be effective.

Meanwhile, Vietnam welcomed nearly 19.2 million international visitors in the first 11 months of this year, an increase of 21% over the same period and the highest level ever thanks to the new visa policy.
