On September 11, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province announced that it had agreed to a 12-month pilot program to operate buses serving tourism within Nha Trang city without subsidies.
Previously, Tay Thai Binh Duong Investment and Tourism Joint Stock Company proposed that the company would deploy 2 bus routes to serve tourism within Nha Trang city without subsidies; using single-decker open-roof minibuses with basic routes and operating targets.
In which, route No. 1 is called Nha Trang city tourist bus route - "Nha Trang - City Tour" with the following route: Institute of Oceanography - Tran Phu street - Tran Phu bridge - Pham Van Dong street - Bai Duong (Muong Thanh Vien Trieu), turn around and move back along Pham Van Dong street - Ton That Tung street - 2/4 street - Ponagar Tower - Xom Bong bridge - Ha Ra bridge - Victory Monument - Quang Trung street - Yersin street - Ma Vong - 23/10 street - Long Son Pagoda, turn around at the turning point at the intersection of Hai Duc street - 23/10 street - Thai Nguyen street - Nha Trang station - Mountain Church - Le Thanh Ton street - Tran Phu street - 2/4 Square - Institute of Oceanography.
Route 2 is called the night sea sightseeing bus route and the Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong beach road "Nha Trang Sight Seeing Tour", the route is as follows: Departing from Thanh Nien Park - Tran Phu Street - Tran Phu Bridge - Pham Van Dong Street - Bai Duong, turn around and go back - Pham Van Dong Street - Tran Phu Bridge - 2/4 Square - Thanh Nien Park.
Regarding the fee collection plan, in the project proposed by Tay Thai Binh Duong Investment and Tourism Joint Stock Company, the expected ticket price is 75,000 - 250,000 VND/ticket/passenger.
However, representatives of units attending the meeting proposed to review operating costs and passenger service needs to come up with appropriate fare policies.
Therefore, the Company is cooperating with a professional consulting unit to develop a specific plan including ticket price plan and ticket sales organization form according to the nature of the tourist route.
Currently, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Transport to preside over the survey, evaluation and announcement of the route opening, selection of transport units to operate the route in accordance with regulations; preside over the synthesis of the results of the pilot bus routes and report, advise on related issues after the pilot period...
Khanh Hoa province notes that vehicles must meet environmental technical organization requirements as prescribed; investors must commit to converting vehicles according to the roadmap for implementing the province's Green Economy Project.
