During the day, famous destinations in the central area of Ho Chi Minh City such as Independence Palace, Ben Thanh Market, and City Post Office are always bustling with domestic and foreign tourists. Not only the inner city area, suburban destinations such as Cu Chi and Can Gio also attract a large number of visitors thanks to experiences associated with history, culture and nature.
Ms. Anna (Australian tourist) shared that Ho Chi Minh City has many diverse tourism products from day to night. On the journey to explore the city, the experience at Cu Chi Tunnels left Ms. Anna with many impressions because of historical stories and unique spaces that are hard to find in other destinations.

As night falls, the city continues to bring many new experiences to visitors such as cruises watching the sunset on the Saigon River combined with enjoying cuisine, art performances combined with dinner or night entertainment activities in the central area.
Experiencing the art program combined with cuisine. Hello Show, Ms. Duong Kim Ngoc (Hoa Binh ward, Ho Chi Minh City) was impressed with the way the program combines folk music, traditional dishes and modern performance technology.
I feel very proud when the traditional cultural values of Vietnam are recounted in a close and new way. As a young person, I see that the program helps me understand more about folk music and want to introduce it to many friends to experience together" - Ms. Ngoc excitedly shared.

According to Mr. Tran Minh Hoang - Sales Director of Chao Show, the program was launched from March 2025 in the context that Ho Chi Minh City still lacks products to serve the night economy. This is a model combining contemporary folk music performances and culinary experiences, aiming to create new tourism products for the city.
Since its launch, Chao Show has welcomed about 30,000 visitors. The unit expects to welcome 70,000 - 80,000 visitors this year, contributing to promoting the night economy of Ho Chi Minh City" - Mr. Hoang said.
Many travel businesses are also promoting the exploitation of city tourism products. Representatives of Viet Tourism Company said that demand for city tours, river tourism, food tours, night tourism and cultural experiences is growing positively thanks to the strong recovery of both domestic and international tourists.
To meet this trend, businesses have redesigned sightseeing programs in a short, flexible direction from half a day to one day, and at the same time, added nightlife experiences such as Saigon River cruises, pedestrian streets, night markets and art shows.
Meanwhile, Vietluxtour Company continues to develop typical products such as the "Memories of Saigon Commando" tour series, recreating historical stories associated with the city through actual locations, or the "Old Saigon - Today's Ho Chi Minh City" tour by classic cars, bringing a nostalgic and different perspective to tourists.
In the coming time, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism will continue to focus on developing community tourism products, ecotourism, waterway tourism and night economy. At the same time, promote promotion and diversify experiences to extend the length of stay and increase the spending of tourists when coming to the city.
