The program will take place consecutively on 4 days August 22, 23, 24 and 25, 2024 within the time frame of 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at Hoi An Rice Heart field, Truong Le block, Cam Chau ward.
Hoi An has long been known to tourists from all over the world for its Full Moon Night in the Old Town, Covered Bridge, beaches, coconut forests... Straw tells the story of the simple and honest feelings of a Vietnamese farmer family. The rustic, familiar straw mound is an important "witness" next to the house: From the day the grandparents were young, met each other, got married and had children, until the children were born and spent their childhood. Children play and mischievously under mounds of straw.
Over time, the children grew up, and the grandparents sat under the straw mound to consider marrying them. Just like that, each generation leaves, the mound of straw still stands there as a witness of the family's bond of love.
