Vietnam Tourism Association in Europe (VNCT) and more than 10 typical tourism businesses in the Spanish market from Vietnam participated in the FITUR 2025 International Tourism Exhibition.

FITUR 2025 International Tourism Exhibition is one of the largest professional tourism events in Europe and the world, taking place in the capital city of Madrid, Spain.

With the theme “Vietnam - Timeless Beauty”, the Vietnamese pavilion brought a space imbued with culture and tradition, introducing prominent destinations such as Ha Long, Hoi An, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City. The pavilion was delicately designed with majestic natural images, UNESCO-recognized world heritage sites, and unique experiential activities.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Spain Doan Thanh Song emphasized: "Vietnam's participation in FITUR 2025 is not only an opportunity to promote the beauty of the country but also an invitation for international friends to explore a Vietnam rich in cultural traditions and hospitality. This event is also a testament to our commitment to strengthening tourism cooperation with Spain and European countries."

At the event, the Vietnam Tourism Association in Europe updated Spanish tourism professionals on new policies to increase the attraction of tourists from Spain and Europe, such as simplifying visa procedures for international visitors with visa exemptions for up to 45 days, and special incentive programs for customers booking tours from the Spanish, French, Italian and German markets.

At the same time, Vietnamese tourism businesses also introduce unique tourism products such as green tourism, community tourism, and cultural experience tours in Vietnamese villages, and origin tours - trends that are increasingly popular with international tourists, as well as other typical tourism products especially for Spanish-speaking tourists.

A special highlight of the Vietnamese booth at FITUR 2025 is the traditional culinary cocktail party, with special dishes such as pho, banh chung, gio cha and Vietnamese coffee. Guests not only enjoy the unique culinary flavors but also learn about the culinary culture - an important factor that makes Vietnam's tourism attractive.

Within the framework of the event, Vietnam Airlines and tourism businesses organized special gift programs such as round-trip air tickets from Europe to Vietnam, vouchers of leading hotels in Vietnam for some lucky guests and discount vouchers when booking tours in Vietnam.

Participating in FITUR 2025 is not only an opportunity to promote Vietnamese tourism but also affirms Vietnam's position on the world tourism map. In the context of global tourism increasingly focusing on sustainability, Vietnam has been implementing many strategies to conserve nature, develop community tourism and minimize environmental impacts.

At FITUR 2025, the message of sustainable tourism is emphasized through products and programs introduced at the booth.

The exhibition is not only an opportunity to promote Vietnam but also an opportunity for tourism businesses to establish partnerships, expand markets and attract international tourists.

Ms. Le Y Linh - President of the Vietnam Tourism Association in Europe, Director of Vietravel France branch, shared: "We expect the Spanish market to become one of the key markets in Europe, bringing more international tourists to Vietnam. This is also an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to learn from experience and expand cooperation."

The opening ceremony and series of events from January 22-26 at FITUR 2025 have left a strong mark on the image of Vietnam on the international tourism map. With careful preparation, diverse activities and a commitment to sustainable tourism development, Vietnam promises to be a leading attractive destination for European tourists in the near future.
