In the new episode of "The Newlyweds", Hong Van - Quoc Thuan meet the couple Vu Thi Trang (29 years old) and Nguyen Hai Long (33 years old). The couple has been married for more than 10 years and has 4 children.
Hai Long said that he first met Vu Thi Trang in 2013, at a restaurant in Hanoi, when she was 18 years old. At that time, because the restaurant was crowded, their group was assigned to the same table.
Impressed by his wife's beauty, Hai Long asked for her phone number to get to know her but was unsuccessful. Later, Hai Long's friend paid for the meal and asked for Vu Thi Trang's contact information. Thanks to that, Long found Trang's social media account and had to flirt with her for a while before she agreed.
After only 1 month of dating, Hai Long talked to his parents and asked to marry Trang. However, his family did not agree because they were too young and had just met. Despite the objections, Hai Long left home and moved into his girlfriend's rented room.
He shared: "Before, I also knew many girlfriends from Hanoi. Trang is a girl from Son La, her family is not rich but Trang is very hard-working, diligent, and obedient so I was determined to marry her."
After getting married, Hai Long and Vu Thi Trang had a difficult time at first. The couple said they opened a restaurant, but after a while the owner took back the premises. After that, Vu Thi Trang came up with the idea of starting a food delivery service and making it at home.
She shared: "At that time, we had no money, only 1 tael of gold left, so we had to sell it, then use the money to go to the market, import food and start trading. When I first started my business, I cooked at home, my mother-in-law helped, and my husband delivered the goods. Even though there were only about 10-15 orders, I had to stay up all night to do it. There was a day when my child was sick, I had to hold my child and do the orders for customers with one hand."
Thanks to their efforts, after about a year, the couple's life gradually stabilized, they were able to buy a car and have their own property.
After all the ups and downs, Hai Long and Vu Thi Trang have a prosperous life thanks to a successful business. The couple's happy marriage makes the two MCs admire.
