People's Artist Tự Long was born and raised in a family with an artistic tradition, with both parents being artists. He once shared that he was born close to the stage, experiencing a childhood that was materially poor but spiritually rich.

The father of People's Artist Tự Long is artist Vũ Tự Lẫm, stage name Hai Lẫm. He is a famous Quan họ singer from Kinh Bắc, contemporaneous with renowned artists such as Lệ Ngải, Minh Phức (Tự Long's mother), Thúy Cải, Xuân Mùi, Hai Tráng...
Meritorious Artist Vũ Tự Lẫm once held the position of head of the Bắc Ninh Quan họ Folk Song Troupe in its early days. He also participated in cinema and was famous for his role as Chi in the film "Đến hẹn lại lên" (1974) directed by Trần Vũ.
He received the title of Meritorious Artist in 2016, on the same day his son received the title of People's Artist. This is also quite special for his family.

Few people know that Soobin Hoàng Sơn was born into an artistic family. His father is People's Artist Huỳnh Tú, a traditional musical instrument (monochord) artist.
People's Artist Huỳnh Tú was born in 1960 in Thanh Trì - Hanoi. After graduating from the Hanoi Conservatory of Music (now the Vietnam National Academy of Music) in 1982, he stayed at the school to teach for 3 years. After that, he joined the Thăng Long Song and Dance Troupe (now the Thăng Long Song and Dance Theater).
He was the one who nurtured Soobin Hoàng Sơn's artistic soul. As a result, audiences have enjoyed the sublime moments of the male singer with the monochord on the stage of "Brother Overcoming Thousands of Obstacles".

Soobin Hoàng Sơn shared on his personal page: "Perhaps in my career, it will be difficult to find another stage where I can play the monochord with as much emotion as the stage of "Trống cơm".

Kiên Ứng
Kiên Ứng, whose real name is Ứng Duy Kiên, was born in 1992, into a family with an artistic tradition.
His father is Associate Professor, Doctor, People's Artist Ứng Duy Thịnh, Colonel, former Director of the Military Song and Dance Theater - who dedicated his life to dance works on the theme of revolutionary war.
In 2023, he was awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize for Literature and Art for two dance dramas “Đất nước” (The Country), “Ngọn lửa” (The Flame), and the book “The Path from Folk to Professional Dance Creation".

At the age of 7, Kiên Ứng studied classical piano. Later, he studied Television Cinematography at the University of Theater and Cinema.
Exposure to art from a young age laid the foundation for Kiên Ứng to achieve success in his career.
