After Nam Thư held a meeting with the media to discuss the recent scandal, an account believed to be of Nam Thư's husband's wife repeatedly posted articles refuting the rumors.
This person even pinned a post with the content "ready to defend against the law regarding the extortion message".
During the meeting with the media, Nam Thư's representative displayed evidence that the account Z.D mentioned above had sent an extortion message to the actress for 500 million VND. Nam Thư asserted that the rumors claiming she had a romantic relationship with a man who was already married, the owner of a homestay in Đà Lạt, were false.
However, Nam Thư was still criticized for the lack of convincing evidence. The online community mocked her statement "I and Mr. L only had a romantic relationship" that she shared with the media.
