Before returning to compete in the second phase of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship, volleyball beauty Thu Hoai and her boyfriend Bao Anh held an engagement ceremony yesterday (October 8).
The ceremony was held privately and intimately with the presence of both families and some close friends. Thu Hoai did not share this information on her personal page.
Previously, in mid-September, on the occasion of her 27th birthday, the female athlete born in 1998 publicly showed off her ring (worn on her ring finger) in a photo taken with her boyfriend. The two held hands intimately, smiling brightly, as a move to announce the good news to fans.
This is also the rare time that the Vietinbank club's setter publicly announced her boyfriend on social media. Thu Hoai's actions sparked rumors that the two are about to get married.
Therefore, the recent engagement ceremony signals that the couple will soon hold a wedding in the near future.
In a recent conversation with Lao Dong, Thu Hoai revealed that she and her boyfriend met through a company event. Thu Hoai's boyfriend is Bao Anh, the same age and from the same hometown, Thai Binh.
Thu Hoai commented that her boyfriend is a sincere and emotional person. They have many things in common in terms of personality, interests, especially their passion for sports.
The couple are both quite busy with their own work, but they still try to arrange time for each other, accompanying each other on every journey. When they have free time, Thu Hoai and Bao Anh will have dates together.
"My boyfriend teaches me pickleball so I can play with him and have more time to practice sports together.
He only teaches on weekends in Thai Binh, not in Hanoi because he is busy with administrative work. As for me, I have to practice volleyball and teach English, so sometimes on weekends, when my boyfriend comes to Hanoi to teach pickleball, I join him.
For me, playing volleyball is a job to make money, and playing pickleball is an experience and this is quite interesting."
Nguyen Thu Hoai was born in 1998, from Thai Binh, and is currently playing for the Vietinbank volleyball club. In addition to her expertise, she is also loved for her beautiful appearance and bright smile. The setter born in 1998 won the title of Miss Volleyball at the 2022 National Championship.
