Ngan Quynh had a hard time with Cai Luong, her husband treated her like a daughter

At "Artist's Life", Ngan Quynh had the opportunity to open up about her dynamic artistic journey with many ups and downs.

At the beginning of the conversation, MC Minh Duc could not hide his curiosity when in the early 80s, Ngan Quynh was a promising actress in Southern reformed opera troupes, but suddenly became the representative of Hue to participate in many national modern music competitions.

Revealing this, the female artist expressed: “Before, I was a Cai Luong actress and was very loved. At that time, everyone thought I would become a star when I was highly appreciated by artist Diep Lan and Mr. Vu Linh and would shine in the Cai Luong field.

But I encountered an incident, after leaving the Tien Giang Opera Troupe, I was considered a member of the troupe but jumped to another troupe. Therefore, I was not allowed to perform in any troupe, at that time I had no other way to go so I joined the Trung Hieu troupe.

In 1986, the female artist was invited to work at the Song Huong - Hue opera troupe and fell in love with her "other half" Van Chung.

Not long after that, Van Chung and Ngan Quynh got married and quickly gave birth to their first child. For a while, she temporarily put her career on hold.

At that time, the actor of the movie "Come home, my child" came up with the idea of opening a restaurant to conveniently take care of his children.

No longer working in the Cai Luong troupe, Ngan Quynh became involved in the field of modern music through a colleague. With 4 modern songs as capital, the female artist quickly scored points and was selected to sing on stage.

Not satisfied with her “hybrid” voice, she decided to enter Hue Music School. From this opportunity, the female artist connected with many teachers in the school and was “chosen” to become Hue’s representative to participate in many national competitions such as: Good Voice on Radio, Vietnam Railway Singing...

After a period of working on modern music stages, Ngan Quynh encountered many difficulties in returning to reformed music, despite the support of her older sister Thanh Hang, Thanh Ngan's younger sister.

After that, she became involved in movies. Ngan Quynh quickly made a name for herself in the film industry when she appeared in many blockbuster movies such as: Suddenly Want to Cry, Cactus on the Sand, Wind on the Island...

Until recent years, she made a strong impression when appearing in the movie "Come Home, My Child" and was affectionately called "national mother-in-law" by the public.

Besides sharing interesting things about her artistic journey, the "national mother-in-law" had the opportunity to confide about her happy family life.

Revealing what made her love her “other half”, the 6X female star expressed: “When I met my husband, I learned about his family situation and found out that he was very poor. He loved his disabled sister very much, taking care of her meals and sleep. Seeing him show his warm love for his sister touched me. Since we started dating and getting married, my husband has taken care of me like a father. He plays all the roles in the family and supports me a lot in my work.”

Admitting that her husband is a bit "mildly" patriarchal, she still gives him a very high position in the house: "In terms of economics, even though I am the one who makes more money, I still have to go through my husband to buy anything. If he doesn't agree, it's not allowed."
