After graduating from high school, Ms. K went to Ho Chi Minh City to work and met Mr. T when they both worked at the same company. Not long after that, they got married and decided to return to their hometown to start a business.
After being married for a while, Ms. K and her husband received good news when their first daughter was born healthy.
However, Ms. K's married life also began to have problems. "Starting from the time I gave birth to my first daughter, my husband had an affair with the person I loved the most, my sister-in-law," Ms. K recounted.
Because she was in charge of taking care of Ms. K, this sister-in-law often visited Ms. K's house, even comfortably eating, sleeping, and doing personal hygiene there. She also did not hesitate to ask Ms. K's husband to "take her to and from" for personal matters.
When seeing unusually intimate actions between her husband and sister-in-law, Ms. K did not have any suspicions, until Mr. T had a superficial, cold attitude, even refusing when Ms. K suggested taking the child to get vaccinated.
"The neighbors knew my husband was having an affair but they didn't say anything. They only told me when they saw how miserable I was," Ms. K said.
One day, Mr. T made an excuse to go to work but in fact went to a hotel with his sister-in-law. Ms. K accidentally caught this moment and quickly took a photo of the two of them "having an affair" as evidence.
Because of her husband's parents' advice and thinking of her daughter living without a father, Ms. K decided to forgive and give Mr. T a chance.
As for Ms. K's younger brother, after learning that his wife had an illicit relationship with his brother-in-law, he chose to forgive his wife - making Ms. K angry.
Sister K and her younger brother accepted forgiveness for the illicit relationship between brother-in-law and sister-in-law, but instead of repenting, the couple continued to secretly have sex for the next 2 years. When they discovered it, Sister K decided to file for divorce, while her younger brother continued to live with his wife despite many times of advising her.
Faced with the story of Ms. K and her younger brother, director Le Hoang was helpless: "I have met many women who work for their children, but I cannot bear to meet men who think like your younger brother. This is the first time I have met them."
However, director Le Hoang believes that the story of a husband having an affair with someone of the opposite sex during his wife's pregnancy is very likely to happen.
The male director gave the reasons: “First, at that time the wife was not beautiful. Second, men often fell in love with women younger than their wives. Third, because of being in contact in such a small space, it was easy for the husband to be tempted.”
Ms. K admitted that she thought simply, did not focus on herself but spent all day worrying about her husband and children, making her appearance sloppy in her husband's eyes.
After divorcing her husband, Ms. K was supported by a friend to return to Ho Chi Minh City to work. Here, she has a stable life with her daughter, although all living expenses are borne by her alone.
Currently, Ms. K is in a relationship getting to know her "other half" but has not yet thought about the future.
