People's Artist Minh Hoa is currently impressing television audiences through the film "Living to Love".
The actress said that after reading 10 episodes of the script, she was attracted by the attractiveness of the film's plot. She was very impressed with the role of Hong Trang - a talented, famous, and upright female lawyer.
Despite her wealthy family, Ms. Hong Trang refused to take over the business to devote herself to her legal career. Ms. Hong Trang is also a mother who loves her son very much. However, it was this great love that made her, in order to protect her son's mistakes, and as a lawyer herself, do illegal things that led to serious consequences.
People's Artist Minh Hoa said that the character of Ms. Hong Trang will surprise viewers more and more later.
People's Artist Minh Hoa shared, "Living to Love" is the movie that made her cry the most. "Up to this point, this is the movie that I cried the most, cried in all kinds of ways, including sobbing and swallowing tears. This role has very complex psychological scenes, for me, not just crying out loud is good acting, not just crying and screaming is touching the audience, there are scenes where the artist holds back to let the audience cry before she bursts out, that is the subtlety of a good actor", she said.
Audiences who have had the opportunity to meet People's Artist Minh Hoa in real life all have a common comment: "Ms. Minh Hoa is so gentle in real life, completely different from her cold, serious appearance on film."
The female artist laughed and said: “That’s what an actor is. If you put your real personality into your roles, you can only play 1-2 roles.”
As a public figure, People's Artist Minh Hoa often shares on her personal page images of her participating in film projects and tours, however she rarely shares about her private life.
It is known that her husband is a lecturer in the Photography Department of the Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema. They have an only son born in 1991. After studying abroad, the artist's son returned home and got married.
Sharing about her relationship with her son and daughter-in-law, the actress from Hanoi said: "In real life, I am a very thoughtful mother, respectful of my children, and do not interfere in their personal lives, very different from the character of lawyer Hong Trang in "Living to Love", but with my daughter-in-law, I am a quite pleasant mother-in-law."
At the age of 60, in addition to participating in film projects, People's Artist Minh Hoa is a lecturer at the Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema.
She said that compared to being an actress, being a lecturer is much more difficult. However, she still spends time on the podium because of her passion for passing on her “professional passion” to the younger generation.
