Coach Van Thi Thanh
Van Thi Thanh is one of the famous names in Vietnamese women's football. She is currently leading the Thai Nguyen T&T women's team. Although her career has been successful, Van Thi Thanh has had an unhappy marriage.
She shared that one of the reasons why her marriage of more than 6 years broke down was because she did not have time for her family. In addition, the fact that she and her ex-husband worked far apart also caused their relationship to crack, with many conflicts and arguments.
After the divorce, former player Van Thi Thanh still thanked her ex-husband for the time they spent together. Currently, the coach of Thai Nguyen T&T women's team is living with her son in 7th grade.
"Football helps me have a better life. My son is an emotional child and knows how to share with his mother. When it was just me and him taking care of each other, he encouraged me to try to wake up early to go to work so that we could buy a house for us to live together. Those are memories I cherish and motivate me to continue living and working," the former player born in 1985 expressed.
Former volleyball player Pham Thi Kim Hue
Pham Thi Kim Hue is one of the most prominent faces of the golden generation of Vietnamese women's volleyball along with Bui Thi Hue, Pham Thi Yen, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa... In 2017, Kim Hue retired to switch to coaching.
The former player born in 1982 also experienced a broken marriage. The beauty shared that the reason was partly because her tight competition schedule forced her to be away from home constantly, leaving her no time for her husband and children. Being a strong, independent, and self-reliant person, Kim Hue got out of the broken marriage and regained her balance very quickly.
She and her ex-husband are still friends. The former blocker of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team is still devoted to her husband's family.
"After the divorce, I managed to make a living. I bought a house on installments, earned money to buy a car, and paid for my children's education. I even fixed the electricity and water in my house myself. I am no longer as impulsive as when I was young, banging my head against the wall in love, just getting married when in love. I realized that with marriage, love alone is not enough. I need someone by my side who understands and shares with me," Kim Hue said.
Currently, the 42-year-old beauty is working as a coach for the VietinBank women's volleyball team. In her free time, Kim Hue often takes advantage of it to take care of herself and participate in many other sports, of which golf is her next passion.
"Wushu Queen" Thuy Hien
During her career, Nguyen Thuy Hien has won 7 world championship gold medals, 2 Asian gold medals, and 8 SEA Games gold medals in wushu. With her beautiful appearance and talent, she is favored by the media to be called "Wushu Queen" or "Wushu Beauty Queen" of Vietnam.
Despite her brilliant career, Thuy Hien's personal life was bumpy when she had to go through a broken marriage. Even in the program "Exit" that was broadcast on FPT Play, the "wushu queen" shared that she was betrayed but remained calm after completing the divorce procedures.
Former player Thuy Hien emphasized that it was her independent personality that helped her overcome the pain very quickly. After the divorce, Thuy Hien spent most of her time on her children and business. Entering her 50s, the "wushu queen" of the past still maintains her youthful and beautiful figure.
She maintains a positive lifestyle, is satisfied with her current life, feels peaceful, happy, and accepts all problems in a gentle and simple way.
