In 2021, Ms. Y and Mr. D fell in love while studying together at an English center in Ho Chi Minh City. Not long after, Ms. Y discovered she was pregnant. She quickly informed her boyfriend's family and the couple held a small engagement ceremony in their hometown. After that, Mr. D returned to Ho Chi Minh City to work, while Ms. Y stayed in her hometown to give birth.
Not long after, Ms. Y gave birth to twin boys. When the children were strong, Ms. Y and her children returned to Ho Chi Minh City for family reunion. But after only a week, she discovered that Mr. D was having an affair, and the "mistress" was her husband's colleague.
Ms. Y discovered that the location app on Mr. D's phone kept moving from his workplace to a hotel. Because she had to take care of two small children, she asked someone to follow him and discovered that Mr. D took his colleague to a motel.
After this incident, Mr. D and his lover repented and affirmed that they would end this illicit relationship. However, a week later, Ms. Y discovered that her husband was still "old school".
Frustrated by her husband's "5 times" cheating with a colleague, a month later, Ms. Y decided to post sensitive photos and videos of her jealousy fight at the hotel on her personal Facebook page. "I posted a post containing sensitive photos, so that girl filed a lawsuit against my two cousins (the two people who filmed it). But those photos contained many people, including me and my father-in-law. Therefore, everyone in the photos was invited to the police station; the girl demanded 50 million VND in compensation," Ms. Y recounted.
Ms. Y gave many reasons, hoping that her husband's lover would reduce the compensation amount, but she did not agree. In the end, Ms. Y and her father-in-law had to pay damages of up to 100 million VND.
A year ago, Mr. D tried to contact Ms. Y to apologize and ask for her back. Seeing Mr. D's sincerity and the support of his family, she agreed to continue the relationship. But after a while, Mr. D "returned to his old ways", seeing many girls at the same time.
Up to now, Ms. Y has been taking care of her two children alone and has not received child support from Mr. D. He is studying at a Japanese language center in Dong Nai to prepare for going to work abroad.
Listening to Ms. Y's story, director Le Hoang commented: "Listening to her story, I see that this is a very superficial love affair, just meeting at an English center, then falling in love and getting pregnant at a very young age.
This is not love, I call this a mistake. You live with a man you don't know clearly and get pregnant and you disregard the law by taking marriage registration lightly.
Why don’t you obey the law and register your marriage? You keep calling him your husband, but on paper he isn’t. No matter how many children you have with him, you’re not his legal wife. Those other mistresses are still gentle, if they were stronger, they would question you, saying you’re not his wife and yet you’re fighting over her.”
The director repeatedly pointed out the mistakes Ms. Y made: “You make mistakes over and over again. You take sensitive pictures of other people and post them online to vent your anger.”
