The joy of discovery
Visiting Dong Tam snake farm (Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province) with her family this summer, Truong Kim Anh (Ben Tre province) expressed her excitement. According to Kim Anh, the trip has many interesting points, helping her relax after stressful periods and especially increasing her understanding of animal species.
There are not only snake trees here but many other animals such as birds, monkeys, turtles, etc. I used to watch the animal world program on the phone but it was much more boring here. My favorite thing is to see with my own eyes cows, dancing, climbing... Looking at it from close range, I learn many things that books cannot convey completely, Kim Anh said.
Unable to hide his excitement, Quoc Anh (Ho Chi Minh City) shared: "I have been looking forward to coming here for a long time. Watching animals on TV is really interesting, but seeing them in real life is much more enjoyable, like a whole world of living opening up before your eyes. This trip will definitely be an unforgettable memory in my summer.
Reducing passive entertainment time
Although they have to spend a lot of effort traveling and arranging time, most parents believe that the practical experience from trips close to nature and animals not only brings joy but is also a valuable lesson, helping children develop thinking and observation skills.
From Ben Tre to Tien Giang to visit Dong Tam snake farm with her children, Ms. Vo Thi Thanh Tuoi (Kim Anh's mother) felt satisfied with the trip.
"Even if I have to go a little far, I want him to have more time to relax and learn about the outside world. This is better for the child's brain development than just passive entertainment with electronic devices. Seeing my child happy and eager to learn, I feel that all the efforts are worth it, said Ms. Tuoi.
Choosing Dong Tam snake farm to visit with his children this summer, Mr. Cao Minh Phuc (Cai Lay, Tien Giang province) shared that this was the third time his family had come here together. The reason he prioritizes choosing this location every summer is because he wants to give his daughter true relaxation after a year of stressful study.

"If at home, my daughter only sticks to the phone and cannot learn anything, then come here and see many animals and plants. I think this will be beneficial in stimulating the development of the child's thinking and observation skills. More importantly, the interaction of families with each other is also increased thanks to this tour, said Mr. Phuc.
The tours not only bring laughter to children, but also contribute to forming the habit of learning through hands-on experiences. As technology increasingly dominates life, parents taking time to bring their children closer to nature and animals is an effective way to balance entertainment and education.
