Recently, on her personal page, the wife of striker Nguyen Xuan Son shared a video recording the scene of the family cleaning and decorating the house to prepare for the Lunar New Year At Ty.
This year, Ms. Marcele Seippel and her husband will celebrate Tet together in Nam Dinh instead of Hanoi as originally planned.
Previously, the whole family had moved to the capital to rent a house and planned to celebrate the New Year there when Nguyen Xuan Son had to stay in the hospital to treat his injuries and recover from surgery.
However, after the examination and assessment of the situation, the hospital agreed to discharge him and send him home for outpatient treatment. Therefore, Xuan Son was able to return to Nam Dinh to celebrate Tet with his family. The medical team assessed that this would be better for Xuan Son's psychology, creating motivation to help him recover soon.
This is the 6th year Xuan Son and his wife have celebrated Lunar New Year in Vietnam. The player born in 1997 and his family members really enjoy the New Year atmosphere in Nam Dinh, often walking around the streets, shopping, and feeling the bustling atmosphere.
Xuan Son's wife was impressed with the image of women wearing traditional ao dai, streets filled with flowers, families gathering together to wrap banh chung...
Although this is not the first time celebrating the New Year in Nam Dinh, this year's Tet has a more special meaning for Xuan Son and his family. Because at the end of 2024, he officially became a Vietnamese citizen and played for the national team.
The striker born in 1997 had a memorable tournament when he and his teammates won the 2024 ASEAN Cup championship. At the same time, Xuan Son also won two titles "Top scorer" and "Best player".
