    Readers ask: When will cadres, civil servants and public employees whose payrolls are reduced under Decree 29 enjoy the policies and regimes under Decree 178?

    In cases where policies and regimes are being resolved due to the reorganization of the apparatus and administrative units at district and commune levels as prescribed in Decree No. 29/2023/ND-CP but the competent authority has not yet issued a decision to enjoy the policies and regimes, the policies and regimes prescribed in this Decree shall apply.

    Accordingly, in case cadres, civil servants and public employees are implementing the streamlining of payroll due to the reorganization of the apparatus and administrative units at district and commune levels according to the provisions of Decree 29/2023/ND-CP but the competent authority has not yet issued a decision to enjoy policies and regimes, the policies and regimes prescribed in Decree 178/2024/ND-CP shall be applied.
