Choo Young Woo, Kim Do Hoon, Bae Hyun Sung are 3 Korean actors expected to make a breakthrough this year.

In a survey by Celuvmedia (Korea), there are 3 male actors in the top prospects in 2025.

With 34/100 votes, Choo Young Woo is a name that surprised the public. Born in 1999, the actor started acting since 2021.

He has acted in the films "Police Academy", "School 2021", "Diary of a Rural Love", "Youth Oasis", but it was not until the film "The Legend of Mrs. Ok" that his name truly shined.

In the film, the male star plays two roles, Cheon Seung Hwi and Sung Yoon Gyeom. Despite the pressure of having to play two roles with different colors, and having to act opposite a talented senior actress like Lim Ji Yeon, Choo Young Woo still made his mark.

Korean media highly appreciates the actor's stable acting skills, clearly expressing the emotions and psychological depth of each character. His tall, handsome appearance, attractive voice, and good physical ability, especially in scenes where he has to use swords and dance, are also plus points.

This is also the reason why Choo Young Woo is in the top promising Korean actors in 2025. After "The Legend of Mrs. Ok", the male star will return on January 24 with Joo Ji Hoon in the movie "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call".

Taking on the role of Yang Jae Won - a promising surgeon and currently a colon surgery researcher, the male star said that he grew up with the character during filming. At the same time, this is the role that helped him truly transform.

Kim Do Hoon ranked second on the list with 17 votes. After the success of the movie “Super Junior”, the actor born in 1998 starred in the movie “Dad vs. Dad” and participated in the reality show “Special Agents”. Most recently, he starred in “My Perfect Secretary” with Han Ji Min and Lee Joon Hyuk.

Taking on the role of Woo Jeong Hoon - the youngest son in a tycoon family and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Peoplez company, Kim Do Hoon brings to the audience the image of a young, carefree and sociable guy.

Although this role is not too important, participating in a romantic work is the actor's wish. Kim Do Hoon said that with this genre of film, in addition to acting ability, good appearance with co-stars, emotions are extremely important.

Along with the movie “My Perfect Secretary”, the actor will participate in the reality show “Our Village Puppy” with Shin Ye Eun, Young K, Heo Nam Jun and Im Seong Jae. The media believes that his youthfulness and constantly improving acting talent will help Kim Do Hoon have more quality projects in the future.

Meanwhile, Bae Hyun Sung is also a hardworking rookie on the Korean screen. He ranked 3rd on the list with 16 votes.

Bae Hyun Sung's notable works include "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim", "Doctors", "Accidentally Found Haru", "Blues on Green Island", "Love Story in Gaus", "Gyeongseong Creature", "Miracle Brothers", "Chosen to Be Family"...

In addition to the advantages of appearance and improved acting, Bae Hyun Sung also has the support of Awesome ENT - the management agency of Park Seo Joon, Kim Yoo Jung... so he has many opportunities to go far in the film industry.

This is also the wish that Bae Hyun Sung once revealed - to become an actor that the audience trusts and wants to watch, no matter what project it is. "I am currently working on becoming a person and an actor that viewers can immerse themselves in the works I participate in," he said.
