The additional document of more than 300 pages of singer Bich Tuyen and her husband, who sued Dam Vinh Hung, has more remarkable content. In it, the singer and her husband have made public Dam Vinh Hung's text messages before the male singer filed a lawsuit in a court in the US.
In the petition, singer Bich Tuyen and her husband said that Dam Vinh Hung had asked for compensation after the accident at the singer’s house. Offering the figure of 15 million USD, Dam Vinh Hung hoped that this would be the amount of money he could take care of his son and himself when he was old.
The male singer wants to "retire early" (ie retire) so he needs a large sum of money for protection.
Another reason given by Dam Vinh Hung is that he was banned from singing in Vietnam for 9 months, leading to financial constraints and economic decline.
Singer Bich Tuyen and her husband also provided information that Dam Vinh Hung said he would write a commitment not to bother the singer and her husband if he received the above amount. However, the male singer then asked for an additional 5 million USD and hoped that the singer and her husband would not be angry with him when he asked for this additional amount.
Singer Bich Tuyen and her husband said that Dam Vinh Hung hopes that she and her husband will sympathize with his situation and state of mind.
Singer Bich Tuyen said she and her husband took a photo of this message from Dam Vinh Hung and added it to the lawsuit.
According to singer Bich Tuyen, when texting her and her husband to ask for compensation after the accident, Dam Vinh Hung used the words "please" and "request help", not a request.
The reporter also contacted Dam Vinh Hung about the above information, however the male singer has not yet responded.
Previously, Dam Vinh Hung filed a lawsuit in the US asking Bich Tuyen and her husband to pay compensation, the amount being up to 50 million USD.
Bich Tuyen explained that after her family refused to compromise with Dam Vinh Hung's offer of 20 million USD, he officially filed a lawsuit to demand the money.
